Girls Rock! Canberra is a not-for-profit community arts organisation that empowers girls, and trans and gender diverse young people (ages 10-17 years) through a week-long program that encourages creativity, self-expression and teamwork through music and mentorship. Our Girls Rock! Camp program aims to provide a safe environment for girls, and trans and gender-diverse (TGD) young people to express their creativity, take pride in their accomplishments and learn not to apologise for making some noise.

Due to current circumstances, we have made the tough decision to cancel our Girls Rock Camp 2020. Our Girls Rock Camp will be back next year, and we are currently busy scheming some other programming for this year… Stay tuned!

We ran our first program in January 2016, and have run annually since at Ainslie Arts Centre, Braddon. Sign up to our newsletter and follow us on social media to hear about future rock camp opportunities. Girls Rock! Canberra was the first Girls Rock Camp to be established in Australia, and is part of the national Girls Rock! Australia network.
